This isn't so much a book review, but more of an announcement! I wrote a book!
Writing a book has been a dream of mine for a long time and about a month ago I launched my first book.
Here is my little book's origin story:
January 26th of this year on one of my favorite podcasts, Airing the Addisons (now Culture Proof), I heard the word “sagacity”. I had never heard this word before, but immediately loved it! It’s a quirky, old-fashioned word packed full of meaning. I picture it like a giant gumball that gets bigger as you chew on it! As I pondered this word and its importance for our present day, the idea for my book came together.
In the book, I talk about each part of the definition, breaking it down with word pictures, examples, and practical steps. At the end of each chapter I write about people in history who have demonstrated sagacity-one from the Bible and one from another point in history.
Sagacity is available on Amazon as well as through my website: amystanley-author.com
